Takachar enables loose, bulky and wet waste agricultural and forest residues to be used as biomass inputs in the renewable energy/sustainable chemical mix. This technology makes use of a new chemical process called oxygen-lean biomass torrefaction, and this innovation can drastically downsize the reactor units, making it 100 times smaller and cheaper to deploy compared to current alternatives.
