Name of the Training Course: “Pusa STFR Meter for Developing Entrepreneurship in Soil Testing”

Objective:

• To improve awareness and skills of the participants in operation and handling of Pusa STFR Meter for soil testing
• To promote entrepreneurship in soil testing and fertilizer recommendation

Outcomes of Training: After completing this training, trainees will have hands-on experience in soil testing with the Pusa STFR meter well as conventional methods. The participants will learn about the handling and maintenance of laboratory equipment used in soil analysis. The training is particularly beneficial for self-entrepreneurs interested in setting-up soil testing facilities, especially in rural areas. The knowledge of Pusa STFR meter would enable the participants to start mobile soil testing facility.
