Cultivation and harvesting of Spirulina biomass towards developing value- added product
Training Program
Objective: To train the entrepreneurs, faculties, progressive farmers and students on cultivation, processing and formulation of value-added products from Spirulina biomass. The enquiry received from large number of progressive farmers/entrepreneurs to the office of HOD, Microbiology, ICAR- IARI, New Delhi, subsequently instructions from HOD, Microbiology, we propose 3 days hand to hand training on various aspects of Spirulina cultivation, methods of harvesting and drying and value additions. The training components will be covered with lectures, practicals and Spirulina cultivation site visit in NC Region.
